An extremely modular elastic pouch that can mount above, below, or to either side of any existing PALS/MOLLE pouch or onto any velcro field, allowing it to take up no PALS real estate and fit onto an already full rig. Space on your rig, especially if it's a chest rig or a belt kit, can often be at a premium, and we are always getting asked how to fit more gear into the existing space. So we developed a way to add more capacity to your rig without taking up any additional PALS/MOLLE real estate. We call it the Free Real Estate Pouch (FREP).

We accomplish this by including three different mounting surfaces hard-sewn directly to the pouch: one for mounting behind a pouch horizontally, one for mounting behind a pouch vertically, and one for mounting in between velcro fields, like a dangler. This allows you to mount the FREP above, below, or to either side of any standard PALS/MOLLE pouch, on any rig.

The pouch itself features a 4" tall elastic body, allowing it to hold a wide variety of items. Laser cut PALS columns on either side of the pouch let you customize the pouch with floorplates, bungee retention, or full flaps, all of which are ride height adjustable. Since it's a column of PALS, you can even attach 1-wide PALS pouches. Included with every FREP is a removeable baseplate, and a removeable retention bungee with our laser cut hex grid tactile pattern, allowing a better grip with wet/bloody/gloved hands, and which allows users to attach their own cordage so they can identify the pouch by feel in the dark. Additional accessories are available to increase its utility even further, such as our Tourniquet Flap or our Extended Baseplate.

The pouch can hold a wide variety of items. Here's what we've tried so far:
