Though we love our Classic GP Pouches, we sometimes found ourselves digging through their contents to find what we need. Ziploc bags don't last, drybags are too hard to access, and most packing cubes on the market are cheap, made in china items that are oversized for a belt pouch. So we made our own.
We call this one the Micro because it's the size of our Triple Mag Pouch, or 1/3 the size of our 2WIDE Pouch or Packing Cube, or 1/4 the size of a 3WIDE Pouch. It also fits great in the cargo pocket of most combat pants or jackets. Simply yank it out, grab what you need from it, and stuff it back in. Transfer it from pouch to pouch or rig to rig as needed. It's great for holding food, chemlights, gloves/hat, spare socks, a first aid kit, or up to two 30 round 5.56 mags (yes, even Lancers or pmags). Fill it with whatever your heart desires.
Made from berry compliant, lightweight 200D nylon keeps that resists water and abrasion but scrunches down to almost nothing when not in use, and enables a nice, low friction pull from inside a pouch. An oversized pull handle and a semirigid paracord zipper pull enable easy access, even with mittens. Modular size to work in conjunction with our own pouches, other packing cubes, and most pouches or bags on the market.
